Licensed Clinical Social Worker helping you reconnect with your authentic self, reduce mental health symptoms, and values driven leadership

Meet Amber Rodgers, LCSW

My Journey to This Work

I didn't always understand the cost of constant striving. Like many high achievers, I spent years believing that rest was a reward for finishing everything on my list - a list that never seemed to end. I know what it's like to feel successful on the outside while questioning everything on the inside.

My path to becoming a therapist grew from my own journey of learning to lead authentically, set boundaries without guilt, and find meaning beyond achievement. I've walked the path from burnout to balance, and now I'm passionate about helping others do the same.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience in adult, active duty, family member populations, I've had the privilege of witnessing countless transformations. I've seen clients move from exhaustion to vitality, from confusion to clarity, from self-doubt to confident authenticity.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based therapeutic practices, but it's also deeply human. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, without judgment. In our sessions, you won't find generic advice or cookie-cutter solutions. Instead, we'll work together to uncover what's true for you and create a path that aligns with your unique values and goals.

I'm continually deepening my expertise through ongoing training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Theory, Parts Work, leadership development, trauma-informed care, etc. This commitment to growth allows me to offer you the most effective, research-backed approaches while honoring your individual experience.

Outside of sessions, I enjoy reading, working out, listening to podcasts, being outside, taking walks with my two German Shepherds, Rocco and Cleo, planting things, and “keep chickens” though they really tend to keep me. These practices remind me daily that sustainable success isn't about perfection - it's about presence, authenticity, and the courage to keep growing.
